I'd love to have it at The Lake again but this early I'm cool with anything?
You can count me out if it's at hawaii ,lololo. (BABY ON THE WAY) LOLOLOLO
Paw Paw Daze was fun adn the temp was beautiful! I think if we try for that it would give us a good long time to get support and set up dates. The dealership vloney works at seems to be really nice and giving. There was plenty to do for the family and Ryan, there was even a few games there you could win your woman some stuff! My personal favorite was the wooden roses! Those things were COOL!
The Lake isn't out of the picture yet but there are a few benefits of doing it during the paw paw days event. I'll kind of lay it out here for everyone.
Paw Paw days,
If we decide on doing it during this event most everything would be planned for us already. vloney would be able to get us space again for parking and displaying the trucks, I know not everyone thinks they have a show quality truck but they don't need to be we don't want people thinking they can only join if they have a nice truck. vloney has also said the dealership he works for is interested in giving some support. There are food vendors so we don't have to try and plan for food, everyone should be able to find something to eat while they're are there. There is a play ground for the kids and they also had pony rides and a train ride (Century's favorite). There are other booths with crafts and such. It's not as centrally located as the lake though.
Lake of the Ozarks,
If we decide on doing it at the lake again it will be more planning on our part. 6L PWR lives down at the lake so he could help setup things for us ford_truck_man is familiar with the area also. The pavilion we had was nice and there was a playground for the kids. We didn't have a whole lot of public exposure and parking was limited. It would be more planning but I think we could handle it. The lake offers a little bit more of a weekend vacation for people planning on staying for the whole weekend. Having a meet here already makes some people familiar with the setting and might help with attendance.
If anyone else has some kind of event or area they think would work for us please let everyone know so we can discuss it.

I'd like to add a disclaimer. 6LPWR would still be obligated to bring cookies. I didn't get to try these famous pieces of bakery goodness, so we're not off scott-free.
There is a third option. You could have some at the Lake and some in Waynesville. We could look for a bit nicer hotel with more room and maybe better parking where we could all congregate and then those that are here could play here and stay here and we could convoy down to Waynesville on the day of the paw-paw thing and play there a bit and convoy back. It's only like an hour down there and just think of what it would look like with a bunch of us convoying down there. Also, we could, for those that don't think they're truck is all that nice or that just don't want to drive, carpool somewhat as well.
Just another suggestion. I like to keep things confusing! Somebody has to since CodySchmoe ain't around anymore! ROFL
Just for everyon'es info, YES I'll still bringsome freakin' cookies. ROFLMAO!! Sheesh!
Watchim guys, it's what he doesn't say in his post. He says he'll bring some cookies, not some he baked. Probably some Hostess crap or at best, Chips Ahoy!!
Wanna know something funny, 6LPWR? The other thing I'm good at in the job market---pastry chef! I was working at a pastry shop when I met my wife. I still cant eat donuts!
