Quite honestly, if you look at the skyjacker 3" "lift", you'll notice that your not really getting a lift kit at all. You get springs and shocks and rear add a leafs. This is IFS, and any real lift kit will drop the diff and lower control arms down to make the cv and suspension angles as close to factory as possible. The skyjacker does not do this. It essentially does the same as a spacer, just makes the strut longer. Better off with the leveling kit. I have seen a pic on here of the front cv angle on the skyjacker, and its very steep. Any significant amount of 4wd use will beat the hell out of the joint. Just something to consider. If you really want new shocks, check into the bilstein adjustables. Just my opinion.
While we are on the subject of leveling kits and add a leafs, has anyone tried sticking 35's on with this setup? Also anyone had any luck with an aggresive tread for the 18 inch wheel?

youll rub. you need at least a 6" lift to safely clear 35"s....
4" lift is more than enoogh for 35"s. I have seen one person run 35's with a 3"SJ, but I think he had to do MINOR trimming. Heck, there are tons of people runniing 35's with just a 2.5" autospring. They are running stock/factory wheels though. It all depends on your wheel width and backspacing.
I have 285/70's which is a 32.9 or something, and everyone tells me my tires are to small. I would like to go bigger but I put the BFG 285's on when I drove the truck off the lot and there still good. They were brand new on my trade-in, so I made them swap as part of the deal. I later put on a 3"SJ. I just recently pulled the SJ coilovers and threw in a 2.5 Autospring on factory coils back in. I had 2 SJ shocks leak on me. Funny thing is the A.S. gave me a net height of 3". I went to get it aligned and they said it was still on.
