Ok im gonna get a local muffle shop to make me a true dual kit and i want borla mufflers, but the questions i have are: what muffler to get and who's got them the cheapest? Im not sure between the Turbo and the Turbo XL. Any help is appreciated
If youre going to run true duals, i would seriously look into Magnaflows DIDO mufflers, they have a build in crossover core, which you will need for true duals anyway, and save a few bucks on the system.
At any rate, find a borla or magnaflow number and PM me, ill give you the best price.

He's not joking man this guy is the best thing since sliced bread!
just outta curiosity why do you say go with a dido instead of 2 siso. Is there any particular reason or is just a piece of advice for saving money? Im just wondering about the whole performance aspect of things and you seem to know you're stuff so why not ask questions.
Magnaflow is one of the best performing mufflers for these trucks, from i have observed. Borla should be about the same since its the same design. These trucks really need good EGV, exhaust gas velocity. Chambered mufflers take away from this, and I have observed first hand with a flowmaster a noticeable loss of torque (anyone want a used flowmaster custom system???) The straight through design of magnaflow, and borla, lets that exhaust gas blow right through.
The reason i suggest a DIDO muffler with true duals, is because the Magnaflow DIDOs have a crossover core pipe INSIDE the muffler. You will need a balance or crossover pipe in the system anyway, to balance the exhuast gas pulses. So a DIDO magnaflow helps you save a few bucks, in a few ways. one, you only need to buy one muffler. 2, you dont need to buy a crossover pipe and pay a shop to install it. Its all within one muffler. I use one my own truck right now, and love it. Out of the 4 or 5 systems I have tested, i did months of research before deciding upon what i have right now, and its perfect as far as im concerned
