I have a 66 F250 WITH A 352. Yesterday a guy gave me a old edsel. there is an intake for an FE block and a brand new 4brl
carb.my question is, will a manifold from a 58 edsel fit my 66 352? thanks LaMar.
John is probably right ( he usually is ) but something keeps buzzing in my head about that swap. Can't pin it down. Ask the folks at the FE forum on this site, just to be sure, before you start tearing things apart.
I believe the manifold will fit ok but you'll have the hole for the road draft tube at the back. Did you get those cool "Edsel 400" valve covers with the motor? The 361 had them.
Eric
thanks for the input guys. I dont know what is in the car, I havent gotten the hood or the trunk open yet.parts are scattered gingerly all over the place tho.I'll look for those cool valve covers. thanks again. LaMar.
Had several Edsels, mostly '58 models, great cars. The manifolds will work, carb too. My 58s had automatic choke, but conversion to your '66 shouldn't be a problem. P.S. I am looking for a front clip for a 58 Edsel, (wagon only) and other parts. Email me if you plan to part it out.. jta1986(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
