Shifter Problems

My '02 f150 is having some shifter problems. It does not like to go into park and feels like it almost slips out. And it is difficult to put it into drive because it is so loose that it goes from Netrual to 2 skipping Drive. How can i fix the problem

check the base of the column where the cable attaches. the bolts are probably loose.
