I've seen this mentioned a few times and I am not quite sure what that means. Yes I can understand light air pressure, but through what orifice - there are 3 of them on the EVR, if you count the cap as a single orifice.
Could someone clarifly what is meant by lightly blowing into the EVR and determining if air if flowing?
Where do you get them, that's really what I'm asking, since the vacuum hoses are a single unit. If I were to go to the stealership or the parts store what would I be asking for?
I checked my Ranger's EVR and I see what you mean now. It does appear that the EVR/EGR hose assembly contains several joints and conjunctions as you follow it along. However, on my '98 the EVR hose runs only about a foot or two and then hooks up to a plastic "joint". I'm able to pull the hose end off the joint and the other end off the EVR to remove the hose.
Another thing to consider is a junkyard. In that case, you can grab the entire EVR/EGR hose assembly.
