Can't comment on Whiskey and Vodka too much but Tequila on the other hand.....
Patron is the most well known premium tequila and the blanco (silver) is very good. However I think their Anejo is a little over rated.
The best Anejo I've had for the money is Don Julio Anejo. It should cost you about $60 for a 750ml bottle. There are many great tequilas and like everything else that are ones that run over $400!
Casa Noble and Herradura are very good tequilas too. Never had Cabo Wabo.
For Margaritas and Mexican Martinis I usually use Sauza Hornitos or 1800 (not Cuervo 1800) because everything gets masked so much. But for sipping.... it's gotta be Don Julio Anejo.
btw, if shots are your thing try Patron with cinammin and an orange instead of salt and lime.
My friend brought back a really cool looking bottle of tequila from Mexico. It probably would have made a nice piece on the shelf but no sense putting an empty bottle up there.
Maybe a nice bottle of Canadian Club whiskey... AKA battery acid.
Like that battery acid!!!!!
Canadian Club shots with a water chaser, or Canadian Club w/ ginger ale and a slice of lime.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
As for the collector bottle of tequila, didn't someone just pay over a million $$$ for a bottle? Or, maybe it was just over a 100 Grand?
I dunno. ?????????? I remember hearing something a couple of weeks ago. . .
