I rarely Drink Alcohol so I don’t know what brands are Best, Good or even drinkable. I know People “Collect” Some types of Alcohol for long periods of time and sometimes they even drink that stuff!! The reason I would like to know is I have a Client that is displaying has Scotch Collection in the New Wet Bar I had installed!! I told his wife I would like to get him a Bottle to show my gratitude. She told me she wasn’t up on Scotch because she drank Vodka or Tequila.
Here is the Question. What would be a great Bottle of Scotch, Vodka, or Tequila? I’m looking for a Collectors Item.
Not a scotch drinker myself, but I've got a pal who has a bottle of it called "The Glenlivit" in a cabinet that he's saving for a special occasion.
For tequila, try to find something made from pure agave, preferably from Mexico. Same for vodka... find something from Russia or Finland. Not something common.
Of course, for myself, I'd rather have Jim Beam. You might look for a commemorative bottle or something along those lines.
My friend brought back a really cool looking bottle of tequila from Mexico. It probably would have made a nice piece on the shelf but no sense putting an empty bottle up there.

Maybe a nice bottle of Canadian Club whiskey... AKA battery acid.
Rye Whiskey = Wiser's Special Old (10 years)
Scotch Whiskey = Glenlivit is a must
Vodka = Smirnoff or other Russian Vodka
Tequila = any Mexican tequila wth the worm in it.Mezcal http://www.beerliquors.com/liquors/mezcal.htm
A guy I worked with swore by Pearl vodka. Five times distilled and six times filtered. http://www.pearlvodka.com/home.html A set of the three bottles might be nice. I usually buy Absolut vodka.

Nothing other than "GLENFIDDICH" single malt - trust me!
You will be respected by your client if you present him with THAT.
Many of the Scots I know swear by GROUSE, but that is an everyday scotch whiskey - Glenfiddich isn't.
Cutty Sark does not hold a candle to it, neither does anything Johnny Walker ever made.
Please don't ask me how I know this - I will simply forget I ever saw the question.
