Armrests (seriously-check this out!) are the EXACT same part as used on the 1959 Edsel! Not kidding on this one. I stripped a '59 Villager and it's pink armrests are exact duplicate of those on my '66! Too bad they were pink, as they were in better shape!
I don't find it hard to believe. Most manufacurers used multi-fit parts on thier products. Some items are interior pcs with minor changes from year to year.
I even found out that some parts are even used across different makes since they are usually producted by the Body manufactures rather than the Big three at the time.

Jim, You can color or paint them to the color needed.
Seems that I read in one of the catalogs that the armreasts were offered in another car, but I don't remember which.
