The v-6 Ford is odd. Never a problem with one, never had one that would stand out - save the SHO.

As for me, it has to be a Ford, or a chev, but never a chry. Co. or anything else. And I have kinda wrote off the old GM after 4 trany failures in 3 years.

T-Tops shattered when my first wife closed the door. Glass fell on top of my first wife. She got a concussion (sp??) and cuts on her head, shoulders, down her top, and her legs. 80 stitches!

86 Monte Carlo,V8...x2 sold one traded one when kids started flowing
87 Firebird...sold, too many cars for my trailor court landlord said they had to go!
77 F150,V8...sold PA emissions laws became to strict for my engine and four wheels.
94 Grand Cherokee,V8...current log truck with my 72 F250 turned trailor.
04 Grand Cherokee...family grocery getter, wifes car
96 Saturn SL1...can't complain 39mpg put over 100k on in 18mos blew up twice kept fixing it then eventually sold
04 Saturn Ion....no chick getter but good mpg and I commute 65 mile one way.
67 F250...ten footer, beauty queen she is retired, sits under tarp under carport and taken out locally occasionally to keep moving.

1977 Chrysler Newport - First car...promptly sold to buy

1967 Chevy Chevelle - Restored and sold for college money

1989 Ford Escort - Economy through college, sold for 25th B-day present:

1987 Chevy Corvette - great fun, but not so good in the winter

1985 Chevy Blazer - Gutted out rust bucket, but man that thing was fun! Frame broke, engine blew, transmission fire - traded in for:

1993 Ford Bronco - Nice newer truck, but many months I paid more in repairs than I paid on the loan.

About this time I met this girl...

1984 Olds Delta 88 - Inherited with girlfriend - transmission died, sold for scrap metal and bought:

1988 Hyundai Excel - Bought for $160, transmission died 40K miles later, sold for $300 and bought:

1992 Geo Storm - Driver crossed center line, hit us head on, totaled car.

2000 Honda Insight - girlfriend (now wife) was tired of paying big bucks for gas and wanted something super economical.

About this time gas was skyrocketing (to 1.80 per gallon!) and I decided I needed some economy so I bought:

1987 Honda CRX for a daily driver and let the Bronco set for the weekends

Also after buying the Honda and seeing how much fun it was to drive a car versus working on it, I sold the Bronco and bought:

1999 Isuzu Vehicross - Fun little SUV to drive, but had a hideous oil consumption problem - dealer refunded my money and took the truck back so I bought:

2003 Chevy Blazer - Nice, plain jane truck - did the trick, to tow stuff to the lake, but then I started remodeling my house and needed to haul dirt, rocks, plywood, etc. So I traded the Blazer in for:

2004 Ford F150 XLT.

Finally, the CRX was on its last legs, so I sold it and bought a 2002 Acura RSX to handle the daily driving chores while the F150 does the weekend hauling duties.
