1979 Hurst/Olds. Black and gold. Given to me when I turned 16. My parents bought it new.
1979 Hurst/Olds. White and gold. Picked it up from a Chevrolet dealer for $600 in 1986.
1987 Mustang LX 5.0. My first new car, and probably the most fun of them all. Still have it, but's been stored with a blown engine for 14 years.
1985 Toyota pickup. Got it cheap. Piece of junk. Put three two engines and a trans in it 2 years. My only foreign vehicle.
1979 F150 4x4. Worn out when I got it. Really was the Fix or repair daily truck.
1995 F150 4x2 302 five-speed. Bought it used, but with low miles. Very reliable. Probably towed over 100k miles with it. Put a lower mileage engine and rebuilt trans in it at 230k miles. Just gave it to a friend of mine two weeks ago.
1988 Mustang LX. It's a four cylinder, but I started tearing it down to make it a street/strip car out of it. It's been sitting in the shop, untouched, since late-2000 Worse, I've had a nice little Keith Kraft 306 sitting on the engine stand for 10 years. You read that right, 10 years
2001 Mustang Bullitt. Bought it, parked it in the garage except when I took it to the dragstrip. After two years the vast majority of the miles were driving to and from the track, sometimes twice a week. Put gears and headers on it in 2004. Didn't drive it hardly any for a year after that. Just use it for cruising around in now since I can't afford the gas to take it 100 miles roundtrip to the track.
2004 F350 Super Duty. My work truck.
2000 Ford Taurus. An Iwo Jima veteran gave that to me. It needs a transmission and I will probably never put one in it.

1950 Olds Deluxe 88 Club Coupe. I owned the car for 15 years (1962/77), 6 months after I sold it, I tried to find it and buy it back. It had disappeared = MIA.
1962 Studebaker GT Hawk. After owning it for 6 years, I sold it to a fellow who took it to the Philippines. That puts it out of reach.
1955 Packard Patrician. I know where the car is, but it would cost 30 grand to restore it...no thanks.
1951 Ford Deluxe 2 Door Sedan, my uncle bought it new. I owned it briefly in the 1970's, sold it to a friend, both have disappeared. It had 17,000 actual miles when I owned it. Another MIA.
1930 Cadillac V16 Imperial 7 passenger sedan. I paid a whopping $30.00 (!) for it in 1961 (bought it from a student at UCLA). Haven't seen it since 1968. It's prolly still around someplace.
The car I never owned, but could have bought for $500.00 in 1961: Mae West's 1932 Duesenberg SJ Town Car, body by Le Grande. Where is it today? Dunno.
Another car I should have bought: Charlie Chaplin's 1932 Packard V12 All Weather Landaulet, body by Rollston. I found it in a chicken coop in the late 1960's in horrible condition (no thanks to the chickens, who were roosting on and in it). I could have bought it for a coupla hundred bucks. Chaplin's name was still on the title.
Freierfishing: I'm 63 years old. Back in the 1960's, early 1970's (before the circuses [auctions] blew old car prices way out of proportion), nice original 1930's thru the 1950's cars could be bought for peanuts. I bought dozens of them, detailed them, did minor mechanical repairs and sold them making anywhere from $300-$1000 apiece. A good way back then to augument my monthly paycheck which had barely reached $700.00 by 1973.

1986 F-150 4x4, 300-6, 4 speed. Really my parents', but I drove it through most of high school.
1995 F-150 Supercab 4x4, 302, 5 speed. Bought it as a senior in high school, has been driven almost every day since. I've put 110K+ miles on it.
1979 F-150 4x4, 400 4 speed. Bought for a project, haven't done much to it lately though.
1976 F-150 4x2, 460 C6. Burned up the summer after I bought it. Fun to drive and loud. Now it's a pickup box trailer.
1995 F-150 Supercab 4x4, 302, auto. This is the truck that got me wanting a 92-96 way back when. Finally got it after 304K miles and some rust.
1979 F-150 4x4, 400 4 speed. Sold and wish I still had it. Lots of rust but ran good and had quite a few options. New owner is treating it right and has more time for it though.
1978 F-150 Supercab 4x4, 400 C6. Fun to drive, needs some body work though.
1979 F-150 4x2, 302 C4. Put an EFI 302 in it out of my Econoline.
1992 Ford Tempo. Bought and sold the same day with bad motor.
1979 Lincoln Continental. Almost mint condition with 60K miles. Too good a deal to pass up.
1997 F-250 Supercab, PSD 5 speed. "Good" truck.
Junk:
1979 F-150 4x2 wrecked cab and frame. Parts truck.
1980 F-150 4x2. Parts truck.
1978 F-150 4x4. Lariat parts truck. Runs and drives, swapped engines with the Supercab.
1988 E-150 van. Wrecked donor for my EFI 79 F-150. Need to get rid of the rest.
1974? F-150 4x4 parts truck. Very rough.

I'm 30 yrs old and with the latest addition of a 91 olds custom cruiser I'm up to 34. I'm not gonna list them all but a large portion have been oldsmobiles and nissan's with a smattering of everything from saab to jeep and anything in between.
Vehicles I won't own are chrysler corp products powered by anything other than an AMC engine
any ford with a V6
and mitsubishi 4 cylinders
Thus far I've never had an engine failure, and the only trans issues I've had were a result of abuse 1/4 mile at a time
