Funny eBay stuff

So I'm browsing eBay and come across a "resistor" that promises 85HP and up to 30mpg increase. W.T.F?!?! is up with this? haha

Because the sheeple who would buy that resistor are gullible and stupid.

I mean, with years and years of trying to improve MPG and power, heaven forbid the car makers were too stupid to realize adding a simple resistor to the vehicle would garner 30+ MPG and almost another 100 hp.

Took me about 8 minutes to install over the summer on my V10. Saw a increase in HP & tongue. Went from 14 to 34 mpg highway and towing mpg went from 8 to 23mpg. With this I am now offering my 2003 V10 with this resistor already installed for $35,000. Enjoy the laugh. I'm still getting the same mileage as the rest of use and would never even try one of these.

I think I will buy 2, then I should get an increase of 170 hp and at least 60 more mpg!

Oh no, they have one for the 7.3's too!

Every-so-often someone will post a link to an ebay ad in the 7.3L forum that is selling a product that is essentially the 10k mod.

Hate to admit it but I bought one back in the day It was when they could get away with more and it was the "Vortech" brand and I was 16 and huge into Mustangs. I always wanted to supercharge my stang and thought getting what they called the "Vortech" chipset I could slowly build up my kit. That was one sad day when it came in the mail I'm 31 now and still remember that lesson

Wow... better than a programmer!
I'm gonna get 16 of em!
If I put two together in series per cylinder I can double the power per cylinder!
What a deal!
Now if I can just find the Flux Capacitor the Mod will be complete!
LOL

Reminds me of the magnets from JC Whitney that attach to your fuel lines and were guaranteed to save gas or your money back.
