Sqeaking sound when in reverse?

Question Sqeaking sound when in reverse?
I have a `96 Explorer that makes a sqeaking sound but only when going in reverse. I had it up on jackstands the other day and it sounds like it's coming from the front drive shaft right where it comes out of the transfer case. Could this be a universal joint problem?

I've done a little more searching in the internet and these syptoms are also pointing to the slip yoke. Has anyone else ever had a noise like this?
