Sqeaks

hi i recently bought an 04 f-150 XLt with 5.4. When the truck is started there is a loud sqeak that comes from under the hood. it only sqeaks until the truck warms up. has anyone else had his problem? what do you think it is.

I'd go with Cavtrooper on this one... checking the belts and or pulleys.
.....maybe morning moisture / dew on the belts then quickly drying off?

Mine does the same thing. It's the top idler/tension pulley. I just pulled it off and lgreased it up. No more noise.

There is a tsb for the 04 serpentine belt. You may want to check the tsb link at the top of the page.
