65 Floor Pan Complete Weldment

I'm getting ready to buy the parts to replace my 65 F-100's entire floor pan and rocker panels. All the parts places linked from my web page address below have been checked out. It looks like the floor pan requires about 7 pieces bought separately and welded together, not counting the rocker panels. Is there anybody that sells all those parts already welded together properly?

Mike all floor pans are the same from 65-79, there is an extra 4" added in the 70s and is clear to see it beyond the original stop. I was parting out a 73 when I found a good pan and have cut it out. I am in the process of cutting the 66 floor and welding the 73 in. I will be using the center beam from the 73 as well.
Either way it requires some skill level to do, and should come out OK.

What's the progress of those 61-64 pans from Carolina Classics?
I've been waiting to hear that they are available here from Motorhaven Store but no luck. Does Carolina Classics have a website or authorized dealer?
I currently have the cab off the frame while I install the front end and will be getting to the cab in about a week or so.

I got the first set from Ken about a month ago. They sure look nice, even have the nuts welded in on the left side for the gas pedal. About the time I was ready to start installing them, my plasma cutter went on strike. I should be back from the shop in a week or so, untill them, I will have to work on sandblasting the frame.
They should have some more in stock by now, if he did not sell out this weekend, at the 'Forge.

Kenny, Ricky will probably sell them exclusive this year, to recover the startup price, and start selling to Dennis Carpenter next year, and then Ken can have them too. If you need a set now call them at XXXXXXXXXXXX.

I saw CC's pans at the Supernationals this past week, and like lots of Dennis Carpenter's stuff, it's not primed and starts building powder rust, especially at bends in the metal. My second source sells black primed sheet metal with hand deburring. They are working on their own 61-64 floor pan, thanks to two floor pans I had cut out and sent to them. Not only will we be selling pans, but ours will be primed and sell for less then CC's.

Works for me, Put me down for a set as soon as you get 'em. I will even do an article on the install with pictures if I can be at the top of the list!

Hey Ken,
I don't want to be a pain in the differential but how are those 61-64 floor pans coming? I'll be needing them by the end of the month now that the chassis is 90% complete.

At a boy Ken, Step up to the plate and join the parts makers of the world, supply and demand will work well. Rickey did say that his were unprimed 16 ga. American made pans that weren't shipped from China, primed just so you could get them in one piece.

I asked him if he saw you at the Nationals and he said as far as he knew no. I thought you wanted to talk to him.

We've had one prototype made. Its not a huge priority right now with the server hardware issues I've been dealing with.

I saw Rick, he didn't see me. I stopped by twice and he seemed busy. His helper seemed to be the front guy when I stopped by and I wasn't going to chase him. I went to the show for fun and decided after having a less than perfect time the year before that I was going to make 2002 a fun trip, not a business trip. :-)
