torsion bar question

Can I crank up my torsion bars about a inch to level the front of the truck with the back without having to replace shocks and would it really affect the ride?

Thanks

Yes, you can crank them. just not more than 2 inches. because it will mess up your cv angles really bad. The ride might be a lil more stiff.

Ride will suffer a little. Just an inch it wont be too bad. Dont need new shocks. You might be raising the front end up but you arent giving it any more articulation. For example (just random numbers) say on a stock suspension the tires can move up 5 inches and down 5 inches. By cranking the bars one way or another you can change it to up 7 and down 3 inches. Or up 3 and down 7 inches. Those numbers have no basis in reality, just tryna give you an idea. I always use more words than necessary. Hope i didnt just confuse you more.

Did it to mine. I think it really improves the stance. The ride is a little stiffer but it's a truck right? Don't forget to take it to the alignment shop.

What these guys said:

Ride will be a -little- stiffer, but you probably won't even notice
Take it to get aligned afterwords
No shocks needed
don't go more than 1.5 inches or you'll have problems with the angles.
