but in answer to the origanal question yes the spring is from the twist of the bar, and yes it is constantly twisting even at rest, and pro was correct in that it isn't a constant amount the more it twists, the stiffer it gets just like a coil spring the farther it compresses the stiffer it gets. atleast I think that is the answer you are looking for., and no you shouldn't jack your rig up by maxing out the bars, just like pro said.
