saw a counselor

for those not club fte members (where i posted this by mistake yesterday), i saw 1 and it helped alot yesterday and today and hopfully for the crappy times to come. to all, i apologize if i alarmed anyone. i'm hanging out with my brother for a few days to get out of Nan's & my house. everyone remember, i need to be 10' tall & bullet proof cause Sassy is a needy dog & she needs her daddy. she just lost her mom and i'm going to see if i can hook her up with "the dog whisperer" (national geographic channel) j/k.
thanks more than i can express for your encouragement and kind words. especially dono!! that must have been tough considering our recent battles. only joking bud. hey maybe i'm getting some humor back.

I was just reminding you of things you already know to be true. The last two words of my statement are also true.

My wife has been staying with my youngest daughter since July 27, helping with new grandson.
Don't think I could stay in this old house without her.
I got to go back and get her tomorrow.
I wish you the best and hope things only get better for you.

I'm going to ask you a really strange question.

Are you still there?

What I mean by that is kind of complicated.

Do you remember who you were and how you were before your lady was in your world? Part of it - and all of the sharing you became used to happened. Even further back - the young you, who questioned things and wanted toys and just - "THINGS"...

That part of you is still in there. It's alive and very well - but needs some answers. Highly paid counselors, psychologists and all of that - they call it "Achieving Closure".

Which is crap, because it never completely happens. You didn't expect me to bullstuff you in the first place, did you? Hurt always comes back from time to time. Expect it.

But you now are on your own again.

DONE.

It's just like that.

Keep the memories that are beautiful. Learn perhaps from those that are not quite so bright and shining.

IT IS DONE! Now you go on.

Change is a shock to anyone, be kind to yourself - but realise that life is not over FOR YOU.

There is more that you are here to do...

If it helps any - consider this:

We don't know where we go afterward, but wherever we are we can see those we left behind. Take everything she gave you, learn everything she taught you, and live as she would have wanted you to.

I doubt she'd have wanted you to be alone either...

But for now STOP CRYING!!!!

Because one thing I know for sure:

SHE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO BE HURTING!!!!!!!!!!!
