I was just talking with one of my girl friends about chick flicks and how our boyfriends handle them and it got me thinking. Do you guys sit through them with your gals? Or do you boycott the idea altogether? Just curious...
The problem with polls is the choices and the way they are worded.
None of those fit my thinking. It's best to try and think of every possible answer when doing a poll.
I have always been a romantic but I Don't LOVE those things.
I can sit and watch them without a problem.
So My choice would be, "Do you an interest in some?"
Some I have enjoyed are:
Bridges of Madison County
Horse Whisperer
One Fine Day
Some chic-flicks I have bought for my video library:
Ghost
50 first dates
Simply Irresistable
Somethings got to give
I know a gay guy that owns a video store and when I asked him if he's seen "The Notebook" he said "No, I'm not that gay!"
No reasonable woman should insist that their man sit through a movie like that; there's absolutely no valid reason for wanting to put a man through such torture. I have seen exactly 15.4 seconds of the notebook, so I do know what I am talking about.

haha i couldn't agree with you more. My boyfriend completely boycotts the whole ordeal. I have the complainer option because the first time i asked him to watch one he complained like no other. He was sweet and offered to watch my favorite movie with me on a few occasions but he always seems to fall asleep like 5 minutes into it. It doesn't bother me. I go watch the really chicky chick flicks with my mom because my dad does the same thing to her. I was just curious to see what you guys thought/did. Thanks for all the input!!
if my lady friends so desire it, then i must obey, but i make an angry poiunt at buying their tickets to go see there movie. oh well, whats a guy gonna do about it........i guess i am whipped
I vote no. I saw the ENTIRE notebook movie, so can back up Furball's claim that it's horrid. Absolutely terrible movie. No one should be subjected to that against their will.
