These were purchased at SW International in Ft. Worth. I assume prices are similar at all International dealers, but can't say for sure.

btw - Neither of these were in stock when I went there but they ordered them in the afternoon and they were there the next day at 10am. So if you have to drive very far, a phone call might be in order.....

is there anywhere on the net that you can buy the replacement plug?
DLPINKC I still don't have a clear handle on this. Is International referring to an International Harvester Dealership of what? We are limited here in Pueblo, CO.

You got a pretty good deal then. I purchased mine on Monday at Dion International here in San Diego. After tax just for the filters was $47.99

I suppose that International and International Harvester are interchangeable. You can google 'international truck dealers' and you will find a dealer locator. Looks like in Pueblo you need -

Thanks, dlpinkc. It hepls a lot to know what you are looking for and where to find it. One phone book I looked in had the closest dealer listed in Lamar, CO. I do find the one you list in another book. Thanks again.
Yes, please do. You will get your 15 seconds of fame in the 6.0 Tech Folder. If it's to late for that please review your instructions and make sure you detailed everything and I will get that in the Tech Folder anyway.

You are welcome! Will try to get pictures up ASAP, if I can figure it out, with parts list and detailed instructions.

OK, here goes. The parts list:
1 - 90°M/F brass 1/8th pipe thread elbow
1 - 4" section of brass pipe threaded with 1/8th pipe thread on each end
1 - Female 1/8th pipe coupling
1 - 1/8th pipe drain valve
I got all the parts from my local hardware store.
The Procedure: I removed the OEM drain plug and drilled and taped it for 1/8th pipe thread. Then I screwed the male portion of the 90° elbow in the taped plug, attached the pipe section to the female portion of the 90° elbow, then screwed the female coupling to the pipe and finally the valve into the other end of the coupling. Works great!
I DO NOT recommend for serious off road use because anyone who does serious 4 wheeling risks snagging something and breaking off the valve.
If any one has specific questions they can PM me.
Please tell me how to get the pictures to you. It appears I cannot attach them and I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to using computers.
