I found a small tag that was hanging from the drivers fender near the headlight.I was wondering if anyone can help me decode it? Thanks

anyone or can tell me where to look this up I'm trying to find out what trim level I have for my truck XL,XLT,Lariat or what.

The best thing that you could do is go to this website:

You can either call or email Ford from the information on the page there.

Ask them for a BUILD SHEET.

Give them your Vin Number, and all of the codes located on your safety Certification lable. Axle Code, Body Code, Paint code etc... And in about a month or two you will get a letter from Ford with all the information you require.

Information they list are,

Trim Level
Original options the truck had new.
What type tires it had new. wheel options.
DSO options
Seat color and trim
Interior color
exterior color

Just to name a few.

No, there was no fee when I did it a year ago now.

What year is it. If it isn't too old your Ford dealer parts dept can most likely tell you. I'm betting it is an option tag. Listing options, trim, colors, etc.

 

it's a 86.But the sticker on the door frame is unreadable I don't know how much Ford can tell me but any information will be a help.
