The wobble extension is a good idea. I need about 15 or 20 degree angle, which may be too much for wobbles.
Where can I find good impact swivels? The pictures don't show it but I'm guessing there is a 1/2" or 3/8" square hole in the other end...corrrect?

Northern Industrial Tools Impact Socket Set — 7 Piece, 3/8in. Drive, SAE
Now you can reach those awkward spots with your impact wrench to get the job done faster! Extra heavy duty impact sockets swivel on universal joints. Rugged, heavy duty treated black chrome vanadium steel with tough industrial finish. Standard 6-point design. With steel case. 7 sizes: 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, and 11/16in.
$22.99 might be a more viable option for one time use and since you are not using an impact for final tightening, you do not have to worry about them exploding in your face.
Have you ever seen someone spin one of those impact swivels up without the socket on the nut using an impact, I was present when a guy did just that. The socket held on just short of the time it takes to achieve escape velocity, nice flat trajectory after letting loose, it seemed to have a seek function, struck a windshield and destroyed it! As far as unbreakable there wasn't a scratch on the projectile!

I lose sockets off the end of my impact swivel adapter every once in a while. If the socket isn't on the fastener fully and completely, it'll fly. Once you sense it's coming off, shut your eyes, shut your mouth, and turn your head. It'll take an eye or tooth out easily. Like rockymtn said, it flies straight until it hits something.
As for sockets coming off of impact universals, THIS IS why you should buy PIN style. Barring the socket splitting and breaking, it doesn't come off, unless you manually pull it off while pressing in the pin.
