Clarke Power Tools?

Does anyone know anything about the Clarke line of power tools stocked by TSC (Tractor SUpply compnay)? There are drills, saws, compressors, electric impact wrneches etc.

Of course, they are made in China, and should I assume they are junk?

I am looking at electric impact wrenches.

As with many items made in China or indeed anywhere in the world, they are made to a price. Chances are a $200 dollar impact wrench will outlast a $50.00 impact wrench because more is spent on higher quality raw materials and good design with the higher priced item. I have a clarke bench drill which has served me well for 12 years. I am under no illusions though that I bought a 'budget' bench drill although it serves my purposes very well. Quite simply at the time i couldn't afford to spend much on a bench drill so my choices were limited. I made my choice based on what i considered 'value for money' against similar priced items. Nothing has gone wrong with it yet but it wouldn't compare to a more expensive 'industrial' bench drill.
