P0231-Fuel Pump secondary circuit low
At the top of the screen you will notice a banner that includes "Articles/Specs". For future reference, you will see articles there that define all the codes.
I'm a bit of a newby with this diesel business so I'll defer to the other experienced folks to help you with the causes/diagnosis of this code. Good luck.
Is it possible that the fuel pump on the frame rail may just be bad? I don't know if the relays and switches are a internal part of the pump or external somewhere on the truck. The truck runs and drives but will cut out from time to time and won't trigger the SES light when this stumble condition occurs. I have replaced the CPS but to no avail, the truck still runs like crap and will stall out from time to time and can be sometimes hard to start. Everytime I clear the code and recheck it once the truck acts up, I end up with the same code again, no others. I am new to this deisel thing, so excuse me if I sound a little dumbfounded. Thanks again!!

Dieselman
i have a 99 F250 7.3 with banks powerpack and sixgun, i had the same problem i tried a million things and i got it down to two things 1. the wire harness that goes into the valve cover (driverside) was loose and the retainer clip was broke and 2 the ICP sensor wire plug one of the leads was expanded like were it got pried apart so i took a couple wire strands and tighted it up and have not had a problem sence. mine would stall and all of a sudden buck when ever it wanted.
