Engine Codes

I just picked up a cheap code reader from a friend today to see why my check engine light would periodically come on when lugging up hills. using the KOEO test. The first code i got was 111, system okay? then i got the continuous memory codes 327 - EGR valve position circut below minimum voltage, and 332 - insufficient EGR flow detected.
I'm not to sure what all of this means, a little light on the subject would help. thanks

Engine Codes

Well, the first set of codes are what the computer sees as problems at the moment you conduct the test. It checks that everything is correct for the engine not running. (sensors are at correct voltage, and a few other things) The second set of codes are stored or "hard" codes. These were stored when the problem occured while driving.
As for your problem, is it running ok? If so, clear the codes and see if they come back. If they do, (and they probably will) you have an EGR problem, most likely it is stuck shut. You can take it off and clean it out with some carb cleaner (these always fill with carbon). Also make sure the vaccume line is connected.
