Supercab Window Swap?

I have a 1991 F-150 Supercab, and im looking to see if the extended cab glass can be swapped for that in the '92-'96 trucks. The opening seems to be the same size, I am just not sure if the glass, molding, etc. will bolt in correctly. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,
RT

anyone here know of this happening before, is it worth it. I have noticed that the plastic on the inside that goes around the window will have to be replaced with one from a truck without the bar in the middle of the window

I thought that the 87-91 cabs were different in that you got a double window instead of a single window for the extended cab area....my dads 88 F-250 was that way...

yes they are different, but what red tonka wants to do is take the double windows out and put in a single window.

Exactly... I think it may be a lost cause, but its worth a shot. It might be a pain to find the right color interior panels to match my truck though.

I'll like to know about the total opposite. Miss the way my 87 super cab f150 looked over my 94 f250

No, the widow opening in the 87-91 is much larger than the 92-96/7.
