Superchip #1745

Hi

I have a Ford F-150 FX4 2005. I am innstalling the supercips. Do i have to change the settings for the rear axle. In the FX4 it is 3.73. Or do i just use the stock setting.

Have you changed the rear axle? If not, there's no reason to change it in your computer.

Yea but the FX4 comes with different slip then the XLT. Does that not matter ?

But you still have the stock axle for your truck. The tire size and axle ratio setting for making changes to the stock configuration.

Basically it wont change what your truck already knows, but if you change something it is a very nice option to have. Good luck with it. Tell us how you like it.

Performance update

Mallari, what kind of feedback can you provide on your 1745 mod for your 05 truck. I have 05 screw with 5.4 3:55 gears and am interested in adding one to my truck. Please advise.

Superchips makes good quality products, but I would have to say the best bang for the buck on the new F-150's is the Edge Evolution EEF2400. www.edgeproducts.com This thing does all kinds of neat tricks and adds the biggest performance gains as well, 31hp!
