Who has done it? How do you do it? What benefit are there? I am considering stacking a xcal2 with my banks tuner is it possible could you in theory go beyond the power gains of one tuner? I just want it for the little things it can do (trans speedo egr etc.) Thanks for any answers.
I Would Love To Know The Answer Too I Want To Ad An Sct For The Trans And The Egr Control With An Edge Or Dr. Performance, Could Someone Write A Custom Program For The Sct That Just Controls The Trans, Egr, And The Turbo Brake With Out Any Power Mos This Might Work

Stacking programmers is impossible. The PCM can only hold one flash.
However, you can stack a programmer with an inline device.
I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS, unless it's an Xcal2 specifically custom tuned to be stacked with another device.
For instance, Xcal2 with a special trans program (and removed torque reduction), custom tuned to work with a quad box, with little or no other engine tuning in the Xcal2.
I got mine off a magazine/news store rack, it is the 2d one published. They claim it can be found at borders circle K, and bunch of others. I would guess they should be available in most large news magazine outlets. I will look tonight if you do not indicat you found it.
stacking programers works great on dodges but when my buddy put it on his 6L it made the motor ping really badly from too much fuel.so i decided not to try it on my 7.3L. you can try it it does work but i dont know if it will hurt the power stroke. i do know with my edge pro race comp. box and a super chip programmer made my dodge haul a$$.
although i am thinking of going with the edge evo on low then using the edge attitude/juice to add switch on the fly power for those anoying dura craps and cummins that line up at the red lights.
I dont know if you found the magazine, but I got to read it today. Bottom line is can be done, it is not recommended, and there is great potential for harming the engine. They saids that this was something for the early programmers, but that the new ones do everything that would result from stacking in the first place! Spoke of 1 guy who went in with them and was actually making less power than with just the one.
THEY ALL SAID NOT TO STACK A 6.0! Good read if you are interested, but again bottom line not on a ford 6.0, it is possible on dodge no mention of a chevy.
