Question Which Bronco to get?

I'm on a limited budget, but I'm currently looking at getting one of two 77 Broncos with 302s.
One is a full cab w/ a 3 on the tree and has been a daily driver for the past 2 years w/ low miles, and stock everything(except rear cut out fenders) w/ little rust on the floor boards and in NEED of a paint job. Asking price $3,000.

Two is a half cab a C4 auto and gets driven around the yard about every 2 weeks w/ a fresh rebuild on the 302, and at least a 9,000 lb winch/bumper up front w/ pipe bumper in the rear and cut out flares. This one has rust on the fenders(not rusting up, just around the lips alittle) and bed, and needs a good bit of body work to look as nice as the 1st mentioned bronco, and a paint job too. Asking $2,000

So, does one of these sound worth getting and fixing up to look nice, and function just as well off road w/ 33-35" tires, and are they worth the asking price?

Thanks for any help guys.

i'd be partial to the half cab. they just look cool! i guess it kinda depends on what you want to do with it, replacement panels are relatively cheap, so the rust shouldnt be that much of an issue. either way, you are gonna have to do some work on either. so i would say get the halfcab.

Is there any question??? Get them both!! Just kidding. They both sound like good deals, but I like the wagons better just because of the room to throw a couple extra people in. An who really uses the bed portion of the 1/2 cab anyway.

Getting both crossed my mine more than one time, but I can't justify spending 5K on 2 trucks, because then I couldn't afford to do anything to either one of them.
The half cab has alot of rust on the bed too.

If I can get the wagon for $2,500 would that be a deal to good to pass up?

I'll get a link to the wagon in a minute.

Here's the link for pics of the wagon. Half cab looked just as straight, but needed more body work(rust), needed fenders, mirrors, and a few other things.

It seems to me to be pretty solid. The little rust I saw in the corner by the driver's side door post was not bad compared to what I had to live with. I paid $2700 for mine 4 years ago. Seems like a pretty good deal.

The green wagon was suposed to be $3,000, but someone told the guy he could get at least $5k for it, and I told him wasn't getting that $5,000 from me.

The half cab is still a option, but right now I'm trying to fix mine again(beat on it, and things are bound to break).

I can't say I blame you for that. Good luck.

Thats a shame about the wagon, the manual trans is kinda rare in the 77's.
