There is a late model intake on e-bay now, but ignore it. The seller must be nuts to have that price listed.

 

Yeah I saw that one. For that starting price (a little more) I could buy a blue thunder. Put thunderbird in the title and the price goes up.

There is an offie 3X2 on there too.


I have been watching and looking for a while.

 

Have you tried searching eBay for a WCFB carb for the ECZ-A manifold? They come up from time to time. If you get creative with your seach parameters, you can sometimes find a good carb that's been poorly listed.

 

I just found an edelbrock #1406 for $80 (around $12 shipping). Its been sitting for a few months, so it will need a kit. Does that seem reasonable? They are $264 at summit racing.

I think thats one of the 600 CFM performers w/electric choke that homespun mentioned above.

I sent a message to the guy to see if he still has it. Can't hurt to ask.
