Y-Block 4BBL Manifold

Y-Block 4BBL Manifold
Do any of you know if a Y-block 4bbl intake manifold will fit on my '52 279 cubic inch ohv Ford truck engine? Are these engines considered Y-Blocks? I do know that this engine is a smaller version of the Lincoln (and big truck) 317 cubic inch. Thanks for any info, Big Job F-7.

hello, y-block parts do not fit the 279-317. this is the same as the 52-57 lincoln engine. the later 302-332 HD truck motors used a very nice 4bbl intake that uses the late holley carb. a truck junkyard is the best place to find one. good luck.
