i have tried it and it works fine. i have used griots garage products and love the results but it is time consuming. clay bar, apply wax, buff out etc. chalky mess on plastics etc. is ice as good? no but it is fine as a basic wax and detailer especially if you are pressed for time. i have three kids and the days of a 2 hour plus wax etc job are long gone. bought my truck in april 2005 gave it a complete wax job and than didn't have time to do it again until i bought ice and did it this month! very easy to use and i like that it can be used in direct sunlight with the paint hot. i would recommend it.

Don't know about the Ice stuff, but just did mine with Meguiers Gold Class Liquid. No complaints, this old man was done in less than 2 hrs., didn't leave any of that white crud on the rubber or the flat black paint either. Just a thought.
