School me on waxes.

I want to wax my truck. But am not sure what kind of wax I need as I've never done it before.

The paint is kinda dull and slightly oxidized. But I know it will shine underneath.

Im thinking I need something like turtle wax carnauba cleaner wax.

Inform me!

A cleaner/wax or a glaze then sealer would be the way to go.
Something like Meguiar's Machine glaze followed by a polymer sealer to protect it.

There are lots of options, but you have to clean the oxidation first, if you use a rotary buffer you may also need to use a swirl remover.

Also NEVER polish in the sun, make sure the surface is cool and in the shade.

You can use optimum poli-seal. It's an all in one product that removes light scratches, polishes and seals the paint. It be used by hand but using a buffer will help a lot.
