Help Lokar Kickdown
Trying to install lokar kickdown cable on c4 trans. and holley 4bbl carb. Problem is the lever on the carb is on top over the top of the throttle linkage and made to push to engage. The cable instructions show the kickdown linkage under the throttle linkage and pulling the cable to engage. What is the fix? I'm stuck and about ready to go back to the old rod kickdown.

Don't know if your throttle linkage is set up the same as mine but here is what I did on my old Holley carb for the kickdown. You can see the grey Lokar mount at the bottom of the linkage so as the throttle opens all the way it activates the kickdown.
