Edelbrock Carb linkage

Edelbrock Carb linkage
I just got a new 400m for my '78 F250. The new motor has a 750cfm Edelbrock Performer carb, and I'm not sure how to hook up the throttle lever and kickdown. Will I need any extra brackets, or will it work with the existing parts. The existing carb is a stock Motorcraft. Any advice or photos would make you my new best friend.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jan-03 AT 02:31 AM (EST)]Yes you will need a few more parts. You will need the Edelbrock part # EDL-1483 throttle lever and transmission kickdown linkage adapter.
And a part # EDL-1493 throttle cable bracket "only" if you have a throttle cable. But you should not need the cable bracket for your 78. It should have rod type linkage.
