D@mn thing cracked at a weld/crimp spot on the wrong side of the fitting - the right side, of course, just means replacing the line from the back of the block to underneath the truck...
But nooooooooo....
Had to cut the break out, and do a quickie bypass with three inches of fuel line and 6 hose clamps (cuz I'm extra paranoid and don't want it slipping loose) for now. I can't seem to find the fuel rail anywhere but the dealer, and they'll charge me $270 for the part, which, ya know, on top of $3.09 a gallon at 18mpg is money already spent... So, anyone know of another place to find one of these gems? Or is the dealer price decent enough that I should just slash my beer budget and buy from them?
junkyard. On another note, our local ford dealership says they don't sell efi fuel lines from the block all the way back, anymore. Atleast not for an 89. So I kept it all just in case.
