My cab mounts were rotted out, fixed it so the truck sits up nice. Now the clutch will not fully engage when the pedal is released completely. Can I adjust that out? Oh, its a 69 F250 360 2wd NP435
Thanks
Aaron
If you follow the linkage down at the lever coming out of the bell housing you will find a rod with threads on one end. Loosen up the nut and adjust it in or out. Remember, do not adjust the linkage to the point that the release bearing is contacting the pressure plate "fingers" when the pedal is all the way out. If so, your bearing will wear out prematurly. Good luck,
Lee
Did you replace your cab mounts or weld in the washers as was suggested on another post. How hard was it to do? I'm looking at doing this same thing this summer.
I couldn't use the washers, too much metal was rusted away. I bought the JC Whitney peices. I know a lot of guys don't like those parts, but my truck is a beater, it only needs to function, so I don't care what they look like or how they fit. They worked well.
