Electrical problem?????
I have a 2001 F-250 with 65000 miles.My Service Engine will come on for no longer than 10 second & then go off again when the truck is coming to a stop or idling.When this light comes on my accelerator pedal will not work, you can push it to the floor & the engine will not respond until the Service Engine Light goes off.Any ideas what is causing this problem.

I'm not sure if the TPS will trip the check engine light. You need to get you codes pulled and post results. Most discount auto parts stores will pull you codes free of charge. Post the codes and someone will help you understand them and get you headed in the right direction. Check you oil level and be sure it is where it should be. Extremely low oil will do this as well as a number of other things. Also let us know as much about your truck as you can, service dates, mods, ect. Let us know what you find.
