Hey! I was gonna put dynomax bullets on my truck, but i was wondering if there was anything louder. How is a cherrybomb? I really wasnt impressed by the red hots my friend got. I helped him tear them off the other day, and i dont wanna half to do that to my truck if i get bad glasspacks. i'd appreciate the help!
look at summitracing.com they have nice glass packs i had 3inch glass packs 18" long on a '90 351w and flipped the glasspacks backwards and it was LOUD they are very inexpensive through summit so u can check that out if u want
Headers will wake up the engine and give you the sound, red hots can really bark but not if they are in a really restrictive system. If you have manifolds they won't be very loud at all. I have red hots on my dodge and they are loud but the manifolds have about a 2" outlet, might be 1.75" so the 2.5" duals are doing me no good and I know what they should sound like once it has headers. The main thing the bullets will do is give you a sound closer to straight pipes. So essentially, headers and longer glasspacks will give you better, lower toned exhaust that won't attract cops.
I really like that popping sound glasspacks make when you let off the gas. Would bullets give me that sound. Btw i am putting headers on my truck. Thanks a lot for your answers!
