i got a 12inch cheap glasspack and replaced my muffler with it and it is extremely raspy. does anyone know that if over time the pack will blow out and it will sound less raspy???
also i am thinkin about havin my muffler shop put a y-pipe behind the glasspack and puttin dual straight pipes out the back would this make it sound louder???
also if i have them do this should i put tips on them??? if yes what size should i use???
i am trying to make my truck as loud as i can but keep it legal, if anyone has any ideas on doing this i would be glad to hear them. do you think that if i got a dynomax bullet or a different glasspack it would sound better???
put a 2 to 2-1/2" straight pipe on it with a big tip, like a 4" X 18". That will back it deeper and kackle more, but if you run duals with tips it will sound real nice!
