I use Stanadyne Performance Formula in the summer and winter, and the DK spring and fall. It's pricey compared to others, but I get a real 2-3 mpg. increase over any other additives I have used. It helps smooth out the rough winter and it shines in the summer heat when my truck gets its worse abuse.
I love everything about all Stanadyne products excep for the $$$. Same goes for BG products too. Quality costs more because its worth more.

The only place I found the Stanadyne near me was Camping World. The problem was they only had a small bottle and it was very expensive. Search online and you will find thier websites or try to email them.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!!!

Back in the day when diesels had mechanical injectors and such, a qt of ATF was a decent idea, but not so any more!!!

ATF is probably the worst thing to dump into a modern diesel motor, the stuff really plays havoc on the injection system.

Atf is not highly detergent as many like to believe.

Please vist the Oil and Lubrication forum or BITOG before dumping ATF into your tank.
