Pitman arm wobble

Pitman arm wobble
My 1950 F-5 has a wicked wobble from the BADLY worn ball & socket where the pitman arm meets the next link (don't know if that link has a name). Can anyone tell me where to begin? Where to find parts? or (in the mean-time), How to temporarily reduce the wobble?

Sounds like your drag link end might be worn out and check the ball while you're at it to see if it needs replaced as well. Most of the big truck guys have real good luck with Joblot automotive for parts.

Not sure on a large truck, but the s'48 F1 I took apart had a screw that tightens up the pitman arm ball to the drag link. I say "screw", because it has a slotted head for a large-wideblade screwdriver.
