question-how to install '82 F150 steering stabilizer ?
I have an ongoing problem with my '82 Ford F150 4X4, the previous owner installed a 3" suspension and 3" body lift. The truck has "death wobble" intermittently from time to time
I bought a steering stabilizer shock- I've seen these on Fords before but can't quite remember exactly where/how they bolt on. The problem is, the brackets that came with it don't match the frame.
There is (2) holes drilled in each frame rail on each side, that match the ones drilled in the bracket- does anyone know of a link that has a diagram of how to mount these stabilizers ? Nothing with the units in the box, no directions.
They are PRO COMP ES2000 brand stablizers. I bought (2) just in case I wanted to run 2- if one solves the wobble then I'll return the unused unit. I'm also installing a 3" drop pitman arm at the same time.
