Sitting here with the normal case of PMS and thinking... (I don't advise doing this as it can get expensive!) With the mods I have so far I occasionally set the SES with the 1211. I know the only real cure is big oil but... Part of me wants to believe that balancing the pressure in the oil rails could help with the 1211. Has anyone running the HPX found this to be true at all?
No help with mine. I don't think the 1211 would really help that much. It's mostly to balance the oil pressure between the rails, and probably wouldn't flow enough oil to make any difference at the RPMs the engine is turning when the code comes on.
i dont understand when we start modding these trucks just take the ses light out i really dont see what good it is????? if it comes on we ignore it anyway and if we do have a problem our trucks will let us know. ive debated over the big oil to cure the p1211 by WHY the truck runs just fine just the damn light so why spend 2000 plus when you can just remove the light and drive.so when it does come on everytime i drive it i try to ignore it so what good is it. just get rid of it then the p1211 wont bother anyone or the overboost or the exhaust pressure code???
