Error code 1211

Error code 1211
My truck a 1999 F250 7.3 diesel was throwing a 1211 code. I checked my ICP valve and it had oil in the plug so I replaced it and reset my codes. It starts fine, does not stall but when I push it on the freeway it still throws a 1211 code. I looked on here and there was some talk of it maybe being the IPR. My truck never stalls, always starts, and even when the check engine light comes on seems to be running fine. What should I do next?

Welcome to FTE. Be sure and stop in down at the 99 - 03 7.3 diesel section. Lot's of good info about your motor down there.
If I had to guess, I'd say you've got a tuner or chip in your truck and it's tripping the ICP code when you get on it. If that's true, then it's a completely normal side effect of having a tuner on a stock truck.

1211 Error
I used to have an edge chip that would trip codes but I switched to a superchip a few years ago and haven’t had this problem before. Some times when the truck has set for a day or so and I first head down the highway and I try to accelerate quickly it seems sluggish for a second and then it throws you back in your seat. Never used to do that either. Think it is related or a different problem?
