More trucks

More trucks!! is what the wife said when I brought home my latest purchase. Besides already having a 65 Ford 4x2, I was given a 65 4x4 short box, and now I have purchased 2 65 4x4 and 2 65 4x2 trucks for a mere $1000 dollars. How could I, a simple working fella passed up on a deal like that?
Until my wife starts talking to me again, I'll have plenty of time to figure out what project to start with and a lot of advice to ask.
First question, why don,t the women understand the joy a nice looking truck brings to a man?

I feel your pain brother. Every 3.5 weeks I cheat on my real girlfriend because she disappears and I am with a manic depressive lunatic. Gotta love THAT more than your truck. Right!

Women are gonna come, and women are going to go, but your Ford truck is your real treasure.

First find you a good truck and THEN find one of those odball great looking farm girls who LIKE trucks and other old stuff.

Its OK to dream I guess. This idea would be easier said than done. My woman doesent mind my truck but I think she prefers to ride in the stupid modern stuff. Main reason is seatbelts I think.....Who REALLY knows?????????

Did I snag a good wife?
Her car sits outside year round while the Slick lives indoors.
She made two trips 8-12 hrs with me down south to look at trucks I wanted to buy, and never complained, even after I turned down the first one.
She insists that restoring the truck would be the wrong thing to do. She likes the little dings and scratches in it. "It gives it character".
I just need to teach her the column shift thing yet.

I did ok also, My wife doesn't seem to mind my time spent on my truck. She even helped me track down parts when it was wrecked a few years back. When I was ready to settle for a 66 grill on my 65 she located and purchased a 65 grill for me.

Good luck buddy

My wife figures I could have a worse hobby. I have my 64 project truck at home. I have a 64 parts truck at her uncles house. I have a 65 at her dads house. Whenever I visit the in-laws I get to look over a truck and think of the work and parts required. I have discussed bringing the 64 parts truck home so I can pull off parts faster, but she is not into a yard full of trucks. Sounds like you got a yard full all in one trip. Have fun.
