I have a f250 4X4 with 5.4 with these mods done to it 6.5 inch lift 36.5 inch tires 4.56 gears how much weight can this truck pull my wife wants to get a tag along RV that weight about 7800 lbs.
When I purchased this truck I never entended to pull heavy loads with it.
I use to have a 1997 f350 with a 7.3 power stroke it pull just about anything fine I know this truck will not pull like the 97 but what should I expect out of it.
The hwy speed for pulling a rv is 55 mph around here I will not be pulling long distances 100 miles max once every couple months.
Is ther any issues with the lift kit on it. I am thinking about getting a 4" kit and 35's for my 02 250 4x4 5.4 4.10, but I still need to tow a 6K travel trailer.
Thanks

You mite be looking at 430 or 456 gears if you going to pull a load.
Bigger tires are going to change the final gear ratio, so you want lower gearing to compensate for that.
If you put on bigger tires and leave the stock gears in, you will be lugging the engine.
