aight i bought a stock 351m that i am lookin to do a full buildup on now what im looking for is has anyone put a 6-71 or 8-71 blower kit on theres cause the 400 stuff is the same right? also im lookin for forged cranks cant find em cause i want 15 psi and all forged internals. i know they have a problem of not oiling the back 2 cylinders very well but i can work on that if the block could handle it im lookin at makin a 408 with monstorus power for the strip. any performance help or whether i should even do this would be nice.
thank you for the welcome but... i dont have a ford truck yet i do however have a '65 falcon which is what im looking to put this engine in. and the only real problems im running into are for the forged internals and im not sure if the engine could handle the power i want out of it.

well with the blower i was lookin to maybe high 800hp-1000hp and now im kinda startin to think of stayin Naturally aspirated with rpm of 6500 either way and naturally aspirated without goin over 13:1 compression id like as much as i can get.
You will have to go to the aftermarket Ford never made a forged crank for the 335 series small blocks, there are some avalible for Ford Motorsport Sportsman blocks that can work with some machining and Scat Crankshafts makes them too. All the cranks you will find will be for a 351 Cleveland but they should work, i would ask the sales rep you talk to just to be sure. If you want to hunt at the swapmeets look for a 4MA casting on the cranks they are brindle tested not forged but a step above the standard nodular cast.

PS. They do have an oiling problem but its not the back to cyls. it is that the oil pump pressurizes the cam bearings before the mains if you plan on seeing more than 6,000rpms you need to restrict the oil galleries (only if you run a solid cam) to the cam journals and i run an oil line from the gallery down by the oil filter to the one behind the lifter valley on any 335 series engine i run this will give priority to the main journals
