I work at a marina and I see a LOT of stainless on boats...lifelines and tubeing around the sail boats and stuff.....and the exhaust displays the same symptoms as the stainless there.....spotty and splotches of surface rust, but cleans up rather nicely.....JMHO....Dave
Before I decided on the cannon (saving up for) I looked around Charleston here and everyone wanted between $55 and $95 just to install a straight pipe in the stock system.....and the whole 5 inch cannon system is only about $400...but there has been some concerns about delivery and service lately...so I am glad I am still "savin' up" for it...
Another question i have about a high flow muffler, on the stock muffler the inlet and outlets are offset, So when you buy a high flow muffler will they be offset as well or will i have to do some moddifying? Any help would be great thanks.

The install is touched on here briefly here for the Walker BTM. Bottom line, if it is'nt a direct replacement or oem sized piece, there will likely be some welding. I've read where you can remove the pipe in front of the muffler, cut the locating dowel from the pipe in front of it and rotate it about 180*. This reportedly will pretty much line it up with the pipe aft of the muffler. Then you still have to make up the difference in length, get hangers, clamps or weld.
On Edit: Well it helps if here actually has a link, LOL.
