i have and 300 inline six 4 speed with stock exhaust...i went to the junk yard and i found some dual exhaust manifolds and pick them up...next weekend my son and i are going to put them on..with dual exhaust with no cats havent made up are mind on mufflers yet...he is wanting a lil more power out of this are we going to tell any difference in this?? thans for all the help
With the OEM intake you will need to do some grinding to the ears to get the EFI exhaust manifolds to fit. The EFIs will give you some performance increase because they are close to headers. Walker exhaust part number 45-166 is the down pipe for the manifolds and it does not have the converter attached. I used the Flowmaster 40 and it sounds very good. Last week I had an argument about what engine I had in my truck. The guy would not believe it was an I6 until I opened the hood.
i had a 40 delta on my 90 f-150....302.....people said it sounded like a mustang before they actually saw what it was....can anyone recomend a highflow cat for my I6?
